About Us

Colton and Taylor and videographers based in Chicago that have been working on corporate shoots for the past 8 years. They started working together in 2021 on various High School Video projects, and they both developed an appreciation and passion for the amazing stories that came from these schools. So they decided to team up and have a stronger focus on creating content for High Schools throughout Chicago.

Thus Ivy Lens was born...

Colton has the classic film school background. He went to Columbia College Chicago with a focus on Cinematography, and after graduation he fell into the world of corporate marketing. 

 

Taylor has a more business centric background. He got his degree in advertising and worked in sales for several years after graduation. But the sales world did not scratch his creative itch, so he picked up photography and before long he was getting photo requests left and right until he finally made the full switch to the freelance lifestyle.
